amazing instrument, how is the instrument automated or used as a sequencer, is it all analogue?

@gndunning @sam you mention that you usually develop modules collaboratively, and I wondered what the process felt like to you, without the immediate input of the other, and if this has translated to the feel/function of the devices you each produced, relative to the ones you?ve made together?

@gndunning @sam For the album, did you do any layering or editing to shape the compositions or were they still entirely live recordings?

Is everything mechanical powered through human effort? Is that a design decision? Why is human effort important in your work?

Sam could you explore the results you got by using differently shaped holes in the disk? You mentioned them but didn?t tell us how they sounded if they sounded different!

Loved that @sam @gndunning - love the tangibility and fragility of the mechanical sound. Very different from the world of electronic sound.

They're just edits of improvisations. I don't think we would do overdubs but we've talked about closemiking different parts to mix down in order to make sure you can hear everything properly

Hi @weixler, We weren?t prepared for the prizes to overrun that much, and then on top of that, we hadn?t thought about the fact that we cant restream zoom while in zoom without a bit more prep, and couldn?t set it up in time. Did you record the set? We?d happily share on the livestream channel!
